Sakina Bhatti (‘22) Elected ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹ÏSGA President /

Please join me in congratulating our very own Sakina Bhatti (Feminist and Gender Studies and Political Science double major, '22) on her recent election as President of the ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï Student Government Association (½ñÈÕ³Ô¹ÏSGA).

According to the ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹ÏSGA website, "The ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï Student Government Association (½ñÈÕ³Ô¹ÏSGA) is comprised of members democratically elected by the ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï student body. ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹ÏSGA gives students a crucial role in the campus-wide development of an enriching college experience. ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹ÏSGA strives to make life at ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï not only intellectual, but also enjoyable and meaningful. In addition to being a source of support for student organizations and events, ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹ÏSGA is also a forum for cooperative action and provides a voice calling for progress. ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹ÏSGA is dedicated to the improvement of ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï and is driven by the passion and determination of its students."

Congratulations Sakina!
